"Regretting You" is based on the bestselling book. After a devastating accident threatens to tear their family apart, Morgan Grant (Allison Williams) and her daughter Clara (Mckenna Grace) must confront family secrets, redefine love, and discover what matters most. (Gary Reber)

Special features include five featurettes "Adapting You" (HD 07:30), "Love In Loss" (HD 03:16), "A Life Without Regret" (HD 04:03), "Promposal" (HD 03:49) and "Line-O-Rama: Morgan" (HD 0:43); eight deleted scenes (HD 05:25) and a digital copy.

The 2.39:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally in anamorphic Panavision® using the Arri Alexa 35 camera system and sourced from a 4K Digital Intermediate. The urban setting appears perfectly realistic, The picture is mostly sharp and clear but at times can exhibit soft attributes. The color palette exhibits saturated hues that are warm, Colors are realistically hued in exterior and interior settings..Flesh tones appear perfectly natural, Contrast is well balanced with natural blacks, revealing shadows, and natural illumination. In general, resolution exhibits satisfying detail. Facial features appear slightly soft. Otherwise, structures, sets and object exhibit decent texture, This is a very natural and realistic picture that is satisfying in appearance. (Gary Reber)

The Dolby Atmos/Dolby TrueHD 7.1-channel soundtrack is dialogue driven within an urban environment with atmospherics that sound realistic. Sound effects are limited and supported with bass. The music also has bass support, The music extends wide and deep across the soundstage and to the surrounds for envelopment. At times, the .1 LFE channel is activated, but not often. Foley sound effects sound realistic. Dialogue is intelligible but at times ADR produced and limited in spatial integration.

The Immersive Sound element is comprised of the extension of the music to the height layer as well as occasional atmospherics, some segments of nuanced dialogue, and a minor sound effect or two. The music and atmospherics enhance dimensionality but are generally infrequent.

This is a family life holososnic® soundtrack that delivers realistic sounding settings in exterior and interiors and is satisfying in that regard. (Gary Reber)
