The 1.85:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally using the Arri Alexa 35 camera system and sourced from a 2K Digital Intermediate. The setting is in and around the statehouse in Providence, Rhode Island with Ella the Governor. Picture quality is excellent, Naturalness is exhibited throughout. The color palette exhibits natural hues that are warm and rich, and well saturated. Flesh tones appear perfectly natural. Contrast is excellent. Black levels are deep. Shadow delineation is revealing of realistic shadings. White level appear well illuminated and realistic. Resolution is revealing of fine detail in facial features, clothing fabrics, urban and interior settings and object texture. This is a very filmic and clear presentation that looks terrific. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dialogue focused throughout. Atmospherics realistically enhance the environmental setting, Sound effects are reserved. Foley sound effects effectively enhance the realism. Hans Zimmer's orchestra score mostly serves as a background element, that occasionally is boosted. The music occupies a wide soundstage with extension to the surrounds. Surround energy is generally low-keyed with background ambient environmental effects as well as press events. Dialogue is intelligible but ADR is used extensively and sounds very forward, lacking in spatial integration. Overall, this is a holosonic® soundtrack in which dialogue is front-and-center.
