Midnight In Paris is the story of Gil (Wilson), a successful Hollywood screenwriter and his beautiful fiancee Inez (McAdams), whose experiences while on holiday in the City of Light will change their lives forever. It's also about the young man's great passion for an alluring city, both present and past, and the fantasies that tempt him to dream of a more authentic life. (Gary Reber)

Special features include Midnight in Cannes (SD 04:57), a cast and crew photo gallery, the theatrical trailer, up-front previews, and BD-Live functionality.

The 1080p AVC picture is a quality presentation, with an overall warm appearance. There is a predominantly orange/yellow/gold cast that impacts the color palette with an unnatural veil during the 1920 scenes. The cast does not obliterate natural hue structure that otherwise would be exhibited but definitely presents a stylized visual effect. Blacks are generally solid and shadow delineation is revealing. Resolution is excellent, with fine detail revealed in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. Overall, this is a pleasantly stylized picture, with excellent resolution that is sure to please. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 3.0-channel soundtrack is typical Woody Allen conservation—essentially a monaural focused soundtrack with a slight stereo spread across the three front channels. Fidelity is good and dialogue is consistently intelligible, but overall this is an undistinguished soundtrack that misses the opportunity to engage the audience in an enveloping soundstage.
