In Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, Tim (Heidecker) and Eric (Wareheim) are given a billion dollars to make a movie but squander every dime eliciting the wrath of the sinister Schlaaang Corporation. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores, and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs—a billion of them. (Gary Reber)

Special features include commentary with Tim and Eric, eight deleted scenes (HD 08:53), three extended scenes (HD 18:26), the featurette Good Evening S'wallow Valley (HD 08:25), an interview with Tim and Eric (HD 22:26), HDNet (HD 04:06), the Shrim Dance screensaver, promo videos, posters, a photo gallery, the theatrical Greenband trailer, the theatrical Redband trailer, up-front previews, and BD-Live functionality.

The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture was shot digitally with the Red One camera. This is an incredibly sharp and clear picture with a solid, fully saturated color palette that pops off the screen. Hues are rich and vibrant. Contrast is excellent, with revealing shadow delineation. Fleshtones are naturally toned throughout. Resolution is outstanding, with fine detail exhibited throughout, especially in close-ups of facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is a bight, colorfully vivid, sharp presentation that looks natural and engaging. There is lots of imagery that really pops and is a gross feast for the eyes. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is conventional, with a largely frontal focus, with excellent dialogue integration. The music score is nicely recorded and provides an immersive surround presence. Bass sounds natural, with deep .1 LFE energy that is never exaggerated. A few segments with machine gun fire deliver an aggressive directionalized surround impact. Dialogue also sounds natural throughout. This is a crisp-sounding soundtrack that works well to support the on-screen ridiculousness. (Gary Reber)
