Based on Jo Nesbo's novel, Headhunters tells the story of Roger, a charming scoundrel and Norway's most accomplished headhunter. He is living far beyond his means and has taken to stealing art to subsidize his expensive lifestyle. When his wife, who just happens to be a beautiful gallery owner, introduces him to a former mercenary who possesses an extremely valuable painting, Roger decides to risk it all to get his hands on it. While going after the painting, Roger soon makes a discovery, which will make him a hunted man. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a behind-the-scenes featurette (HD 22:39), the theatrical trailer, and upfront previews.

The 2.40:1 1080p AVC picture is superb, with a perfectly natural rendering throughout. Contrast is well balanced with deep solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. The color palette is perfectly balanced in hue density with non-exaggerated hues. Fleshtones are accurately rendered as well. Resolution is effectively revealing, with fine detail revealed in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. The slightest grain permeates, for an engaging cinematic viewing experience. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is nicely produced with a terrific music score that is well recorded, with a wide and deep soundstage that aggressively extends into the surrounds. Fidelity is excellent, with instrumental timbre perfectly discernible. Dynamics also are excellent. Atmospherics and sound effects are well recorded and presented. Dialogue sounds perfectly natural with good spatial integration. Deep bass is supported by the .1 LFE channel, to enhance the more dramatic segments, though, never does the low frequencies sound exaggerated or unnatural. Surround envelopment is nicely spatial, with a strong envelopment presence that is holosonically® engaging. (Gary Reber)
