Visionary filmmakers James Cameron and Andrew Adamson invite you on a spectacular movie adventure unlike anything you've seen before. Leap, soar, swim, and dance with the legendary performers of Cirque du Soleil as they transport a young couple on a magical journey Worlds Away and beyond imagination. The performances are from Las Vegas' Circus Marvelous, "O" at the Bellagio, KA at MGM Grand, Mystére at Treasure Island, Viva Elvis at Aria, Believe at Luxor, Zumanity at New York-New York, and The Beatles Love at the Mirage. (Tricia Spears)

Special features include the featurettes Making Worlds Away (HD 02:26) and A Day In The Life With Erica Linz (HD 13:24), the Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas Commercial (HD 01:02), and upfront ads.

The 1.78:1 1080p MVC 3D picture is absolutely gorgeous! James Cameron served as an executive producer, and with his guidance, the 3D presentation is spectacular. Shot with Cameron Pace Group 3D Technology and originally released as an IMAX® 3D presentation, the imagery is a presentation of various Cirque du Soleil shows appearing in Las Vegas purpose-built showrooms. The visual stimulation is incredible, with the performance talent brought close for an uncanny sense of intimacy. The sense of space is incredible, as is the perception of depth, scale, and spatial perspective. While the 2D version is every bit as gorgeous as the 3D presentation, it is simply no match and appears flat by comparison. The captured frame of the live performances puts the viewer up close and intimate with the performances and the artistic set designs. The color palette is richly and warmly hued with vivid tones, yet is consistently natural throughout. Contrast is excellent, with deep blacks and revealing shadow delineation. The 3D visuals provide finer definition of the performers and the gadgetry that supports their artistry. Resolution is excellent, as well, with clearly defined facial features, hair, clothing, and object textures. While the frame occupies the positive parallax depth view, the negative parallax is appropriately excited in moments where out-of-screen effects are presented. What is particularly amazing is the sense of spatial volume within the stage environments crafted for the various shows. This is one of the finest 3D presentations to be released on the Blu-ray Disc™ format and delivers all the wonder of Cirque du Soleil in ways that can never be experienced in person. It is extremely well produced and directed. The presentation is technically perfect and pristine with absolutely no apparent crosstalk ghosting or other artifact, including noise. This is absolute reference-quality imagery and a MUST for your 3D Blu-ray library! (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is spectacular as well. Fidelity is superb, and the overall presence is "you are there" in terms of holosonic® soundfield envelopment. Every sound element is perfectly integrated to a holistic sonic experience. Atmospherics and sound effects are aggressively presented to enhance the performance art with spectacular surround presence. The music score embodies both orchestral, choral, and rhythmic elements that are spread wide and deep across the soundstage with aggressive immersion in the rear hemisphere of the soundfield. Dynamics are impressive, with full-bore SPL contrasted with more subtle ambiance. The .1 LFE channel provides tremendous deep bass energy to sub-25 Hz frequencies and supports the full-bodied essence of the sounds. Dialogue is sparse but always clear and intelligible. This is an incredible soundtrack experience that will test the best of the best sound systems. The sound is aggressively dynamic and involving throughout. This is reference quality throughout.
