In "SX_Tape," what begins as harmless sex games between a free-spirited artist (Folley) and her videographer boyfriend (Duncan) turns much darker as the pair breaks into a boarded-up former hospital, looking for a space for a new gallery show As they investigate the building's ominous rooms and passageways, a seductive prank, meaning to arouse and terrify, goes terribly wrong—and what is discovered will destroy them both. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a making-of featurette (HD 15:03), the trailer, and upfront previews.

The 1080p AVC picture is a low-budget single, hand-held HD camera production in the vain of Paranormal Activity. The imagery is constantly shaky, to the point of eliciting dizziness. Colors are strongly saturated with decent blacks and shadow delineation, but the visual shakiness is far too disturbing, as is the visual depiction, to be a credible presentation. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is virtually entirely monaural focused with occasional stereo atmospherics and surround. Overall, this is an undistinguished production. (Gary Reber)
