"Third Person" intricately weaves together the stories of three couples, in three different cities, who appear to have nothing related—but share deep commonalities. The three tales of love, passion, trust, and betrayal play out in three cities: in Paris, where a Pulitzer Prize-winning author (Neeson) who recently left his wife (Basinger) is having a tempestuous affair with an ambitious young journalist (Wilde); in Rome, where a shady American businessman (Brody) meets a mysterious woman (Atias); and in New York, where a lawyer (Bello) is helping a young mother (Kunis) in a custody battle with her famous ex-husband (Franco). As the mystery unfolds, truths revealed in glimpses, and clues are caught by the corner of the eye—and nothing is truly what it seems. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a filmmaker commentary with Writer/Director Paul Haggis, Jo Francis, Moran Atias, Laurence Bennett, and Michael Nozik; a Q&A with Haggis (HD 33:29); a making-of featurette (HD 09:49); and upfront previews.

The 1080p AVC picture is beautifully photographed and exhibits a natural color palette with hues that are rich and warm. Fleshtones are naturally rendered throughout. Contrast is excellent with superb highlights, deep blacks, and revealing shadow delineation. Resolution is revealing of fine detail in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. The color palette is warm and visually pleasing, with a natural balance throughout. This is a wonderful picture that is engaging and captivating throughout. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is quietly nuanced with a monaural focus, enhanced with a beautiful orchestral music score that spans the soundstage wide and deep. Fidelity is excellent, with deep natural bass in selective segments. Dialogue is naturally present, with excellent spatial integration. This is a pleasing and naturally focused sonic experience.
