Frank Martin (Statham) is "The Transporter," and he's very good and very discreet doing what he does. After being hired to make a delivery to a client known as Wall Street (Schulze), Frank breaks one of his rules—he opens the package that he has in his possession. Inside the bag he finds Lai (Qi), a beautiful woman who is being held against her will. Frank, nevertheless, delivers Lai to Wall Street but soon discovers how ruthless the bad man can be. With his life in danger, Frank gets caught up in an illegal alien smuggling ring between Wall Street and Lai's father (Young), and he finds himself wishing that this was one package he had refused to deliver! (Tricia Littrell)

Special features include the same commentary track as on the DVD reviewed in Issuse 72 and trailers.

Like the D-VHS D-Theater™ release, the 2.35:1 Blu-ray Disc exhibits well-rendered contrast, natural [continued on Page 67] colors, and good shadow delineation. The D-VHS version has a slight improvement over the Blu-ray Disc release in how well detail is resolved (and this is with the updated Samsung BD-P1000 player). (Danny Richelieu)

The lossless DTS-HD 5.1-channel encoding is a noticeable improvement over the D-VHS's Dolby® Digital encoding, with noticeably more refined bass and a more naturally smooth response. (Danny Richelieu)
