Story Synopsis:
John Carpenter’s Big Trouble In Little China is a super-charged action fantasy flavored with an abundant dose of comedy, romance, and horror. Set in the bowels of San Francisco’s Chinatown, a fast-talking truck driver with a taste for high adventure (Kurt Russell) comes to the aid of his gambling buddy (Dennis Dun) whose fiancee is kidnapped into white slavery. The plot thickens when she becomes desired by Lo Pen (James Hong) a 2,000-year-old entity who lurks deep within the mystical heart of Chinatown.The diabolical emperor dispatches his super-natural warriors to abduct the girl, to satisfy his appetite for jade-eyed beauties so that her life may be sacrificed to sustain his immortality.
