WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Airborne is a comedy about surfing and skating in Cincinnati where surfer dude Mitchell Goosen (Seth Green) is relocated from his surfside residence in California to landlocked Cincinnati to go to school, when his parents leave on an extended trip. With no ocean he gets ďairborneĒ on skates when he befriends other classmates at his new high school. Itís a movie about friendship, acceptance, and love, and the skill of the sport.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture has been matted to 1.85:1. Images are sharp and clean, and picture detail is excellent. Flesh tones are accurate and natural. Colors are strong and vivid. There are virtually no noise artifacts for a great looking picture that is sure to please.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack features a selection of hot tracks by Ugly Kid Joe, Jeremy Jordan, Steve Miller Band and more. The opening title sequence is quite sonically stimulating with an extremely aggressive surround. Other elements are essentially mono with the music creating the sense of surround envelopment. Dialogue is intelligible but slightly veiled.
