Subscribe FreeKalifornia is a suspense-driven thriller about one writer’s compassionate attempt to understand the mind of a murderer. In an attempt to gather information for a novel he is writing, Brian Kessler (David Duchovny) and his girlfriend Carrie (Michelle Forbes) plan to visit murder sites on their way to California. In order to afford this journey, they advertise for two people to share expenses on the trip, but find more than driving companions when an ex-con (Brad Pitt) and his girlfriend (Juliette Lewis) answer their ad.
