WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Look Who’s Talking Now is the punchy comedy sequel featuring John Trovolta and Kirstie Alley as the fun-loving parents whose marriage is challenged when she loses her job and he lands one with a seductive lady boss. The kids are grown and finally know how to talk. The clever voice talents of Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton are the two canine comedians determined to turn the family upside down. The movie continues it’s wacky original humor with plenty of one-liners and cynicism.

LaserDisc Picture:
The colors are vividly rendered and picture detail and sharpness are first rate. Exemplary color fidelity and contrast as well as deep blacks make this a real eye pleaser. Fleshtones are always natural. The transfer is very clean with no marring artifacts. It has been matted at 1.82:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
There is nothing exciting about this Dolby Surround® soundtrack which is undistinguished. Dialogue sounds natural but surround is virtually nonexistent except for the subtle presence provided by the music score.
