Story Synopsis

Belle Epoque (The Age Of Beauty) is the lively and comic tale of a handsome young Spanish deserter, in the 1930’s, who is befriended by a free-thinking artist, and becomes seduced in turn by his beautiful daughters. Fernando, played by Jorge Sanz, upon finding himself in a rural village is invited by a spirited old artist Manolo, played by Fernando Fernan Gomez, to stay with him in his home. All is idyllic until Manolo’s uninhibited four daughters return home for a visit. Fernando is fascinated but before he can decide which one he should romance he learns that he is the object of desire. The affairs are hilariously engaging making this a rollicking sensual romp.
