Story Synopsis:
Based on the novel The Penal Colony by Richard Herley, No Escape is set in the maximum-security “no walls, no guards” 21st century prison colony Absalon, a remote and secret island where the most violent of criminals are banished. John Robbins (Ray Liotta), is a marine who claimed his own justice and is sentenced to imprisonment in the colony.
LaserDisc Picture:
The aspect ratio is 2.35:1 and the picture exhibits excellent detail and color fidelity with deep blacks and natural fleshtones. There is slight grain and noise and minor artifacts.
LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack is dynamic and spatially enveloping with aggressive surrounds.
