Story Synopsis:
Blown Away is a fast-action revenge thriller featuring Bridges as U.S. police bomb squad specialist, Jimmy Dove. When a terrorist explosion hits Boston and kills a fellow officer, Dove is pulled away from his new wife and daughter to face a deeply secretive past that has come back to avenge him. Jones is Gaerity, the crazed ex-IRA soldier who has been locked behind bars in Ireland for a brutal IRA bombing. When he lands in Boston after escaping from prison, Gaerity seeks out his former friend on a mission of destruction.
