WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
From the Route Of Kings in London’s Hyde Park comes the live performance of Michael Flatley’s Feet Of Flames. Over 25,000 people watched the performances of over 100 dancers and scores of musicians in a dance extravaganza that even non-dance enthusiasts will enjoy.

LaserDisc Picture:
The concert performance scenes are magnificent, with vibrant costumes, natural fleshtones, eye-catching colors and deep, true blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with good background detail and texture. Contrast and shadow delineation are also wonderfully rendered. This is a visual experience with excellent clarity that will surely please. The only scenes that lack a natural quality, are shots of the audience—but then again, who’s watching this for the audience anyway. There is no distracting noise or artifacts. The picture is matted at 1.78:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby® Surround soundtrack is wonderful. The Irish-flavored music score is expansive and dynamic sounding with a roaring deep bass presence and an aggressive audience surround presence for an enveloping live concert extravaganza. The dancing is terrific accompanied by lively music orchestrations. This live event is guaranteed to make you a fan.
