WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:

LaserDisc Picture:
The 2.32:1 picture exhibits oversaturated smeared colors that are vibrant, undefined and unnatural. Fleshtones are orange in hue, and black levels are deep, but lack definition. The picture varies in sharpness. Contrast and shadow delineation are poorly rendered. Interior scenes often appear plugged-up and there is distracting noise throughout.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby® Surround soundtrack sounds manufactured with poorly dubbed English dialogue that is terribly out-of-sync with the picture. None of the sound elements sound particularly natural, though aggressive spatial dimension is achieved with extensive wrapping of sound effects. Processing of the sound is extensive and fidelity is bright in character, though at times bass extends low with good dynamic power.
