Story Synopsis:
Tracy Flick (Witherspoon) is an overachieving straight-A student determined to win the Election for president of Carver High School. But dedicated teacher Jim McAllister (Broderick) has a real good reason why he must keep her from winning. So he convinces Paul Metzler (Klein)—a popular jock with a broken leg—to run against her. Unfortunately, the meddling of Mr. McAllister sets some very odd political wheels in motion. Based on the novel by Tom Perotta.
