When researchers genetically alter the brains of captive sharks in order to develop a potential cure for Alzheimer’s disease, they unwittingly open the door to a terrifying reality under the Deep Blue Sea—sharks whose brains are developing the capacity to reason and think just like the doomed crew of the undersea lab!
