Story Synopsis

Anna Scott (Roberts) is a tremendously famous movie star who has a chance meeting with William Thacker (Grant), a rumpled travel book shop owner in Notting Hill. Their mutual attraction is apparent at once, but will they be able to fall in love with the whole world watching? This is a charming romantic-comedy that, unlike the usual “chick flick,” seems to appeal to just about everyone.
