Subscribe FreeBased on the novel by Maeve Binchy, Circle Of Friends is a delightfully different romantic drama about three childhood friends growing up together and entering womanhood in Ireland. When the trio enter a university in Dublin, Benny (Driver), the self-conscious dreamer of the group falls for the soft-spoken, yet popular rugby player, Jack (O’Donnell). But Benny is betrayed by her sexually precocious friend, Nan, who seduces Jack in order to get him to accept responsibility for her pregnancy by another man, unbeknownst to him.
