WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Robert Rath (Stallone) is a principled hitman—the best—but he’s tired and finally wants to call it quits. When one of his assignments is interrupted by a young and ruthless killer, Miguel Bain (Banderas), Rath takes on one last job—worth $2 million. But Bain is after the same target—Electra (Moore), a brilliant, cat-loving info-highway thief who Rath gets to first. Rath becomes a target himself due to Bain’s grand ambition to prove himself numero uno. Rath and Electra must piece together history to overcome their mutual predator.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture is matted at 1.88:1 and is sharp and detailed with virtually no noise or artifacts. Images exhibit excellent color fidelity, natural fleshtones, vivid colors and deep, solid blacks. Contrast is excellent as is shadow detail.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound is superb with deep bass natural thunder storm and effective directional effects with aggressive surround envelopment. Dialogue scenes and music score are well recorded.
