The boxed set features an expanded original soundtrack on an exclusive 76 minute 24K gold CD and an extensive supplemental section providing a historical perspective and overview of the production. The supplements combine interviews, clips and still frame sections which cover the backgrounds on Rodgers and Hammerstein, the history of Twentieth Century Fox, and introduction to the various players and filmmakers who came together to create the movie after the stage show, and the analog audio track features isolated music for the songs and running commentary.
