Perfect Path™'s Eric Bodley To Participate In HDMI Panel And Teach 'Customer Service Best Practices' Course At CEDIA EXPO 2010

Perfect Path™ today announced that Eric Bodley, vice president and general manager of consumer electronics for PPC®, will be a panelist for the HDMI Hot Seat at CEDIA EXPO 2010, in addition to teaching the course "Customer Service Best Practices." Taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in room B214, the HDMI Hot Seat panel consists of HDMI industry leaders and is designed to help installers integrate HDMI into their system installations and upgrades. Hosted by the CEDIA Technology Council, the panel will cover a wide variety of topics, including how HDMI handles 3D, 4K, and Deep Color; HDMI integration issues; the state of HDMI; content protection; current solutions; and HDMI's future in the industry. For attendees, the panel discussion provides a continuing education unit (CEU) value of 1. In addition to participating in the panel, Bodley will also teach "Customer Service Best Practices," scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in room B303. Course attendees will learn how to cultivate open communication with customers as Bodley explores proactive ways to reach prospective customers, react to customer complaints, and maintain or restore brand integrity. The course provides a CEU value of 3. Over the last 20 years, Bodley has been a volunteer instructor for a variety of courses taught during CEDIA events on sales process, business development, project management, and installation skills. During CEDIA EXPO 2009, he was honored with a CEDIA Top 10 Instructor Award. Bodley is a past president of CEDIA, having served on the Board for more than 10 years, and was among the first 10 individuals to receive CEDIA Fellows recognition, which is awarded to longtime volunteers and members who have contributed to the association's success.
