Dolby Vision Update For Sony TVs Will Start Rolling Out In January 2018

The Japanese company had promised to roll out the update by the end of 2017 so it seems that it has been slightly delayed. The company has confirmed that the update is scheduled to roll out in early 2018 in the US and Europe.

- “We are happy to announce that the ZD9/A1/XE94/XE93 Dolby Vision update via network is scheduled to start in Europe from the end of January 2018 and will be rolled out gradually within February,” Sony announced.

There are no further details about the free update at this point.
