March 13, 2018

Parks Associates today announced the full keynote lineup for the 22nd-annual CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference, May 22-24 in San Francisco, which features executives from Comcast, Google, Intel, Samsung, and T-Mobile. The IoT research firm released new research showing smart video doorbells and smart light bulbs are the most popular smart home devices at the beginning of 2018, with 27% of U.S. broadband households planning to purchase these products in the next 12 months. CONNECTIONS™ will discuss the expansion of smart home solutions in the home and new business strategies that enhance the consumer experience with connected solutions.

"Nationwide 7% of U.S. broadband households currently own a smart door bell, up from 4% at midyear 2017, and adoption is likely to spike in 2018, especially following market actions like the Amazon purchase of Ring," said Elizabeth Parks, SVP, Parks Associates.
