August 21, 2019

Zappiti, the award-winning brand and leading manufacturer of 4K media players is rolling out an innovative new high-end media player to the U.S. marketplace with the launch of its Pro 4K HDR Media Player during CEDIA Expo (booth 3255), in Denver, CO, September 11-14, 2019.

Engineered to play digital content at the highest level possible, Zappiti’s flagship Pro 4K HDR is one of the AV industry’s first ISF-certified media players. With its great user interface, Zappiti's media player server offers unmatched picture and sound quality possible: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, 4K HDR, Parental Control, IP Control. Plus, its proprietary MagicPixel technology allows each frame of video to be deeply analyzed, entirely cleaned and rebuilt for a picture-perfect rendering of the original cinematic performance.

“The Zappiti R&D team spent years designing a software ecosystem specifically for discerning customers, combined with a top-of-class hardware platform to deliver the best viewing experience,” says Rick Martin, COO of Zappiti. “Every single detail has been optimized.”

Designed by an AV Integrator for AV Integrators

Designed in part by an AV integrator, the Pro 4K HDR media player offers many powerful features to simplify installation and provide home theater enthusiasts with hundreds of hours of high-quality entertainment. “The integrator who designed the Pro 4K HDR was one of the first resellers of the popular Oppo Digital media servers in Europe,” says Zappiti marketing manager Rémy Pariselle. “He took the very best of Oppo players, like its unique power supply, and put them into the Zappiti media server.”

Unique Software Suite

One of Zappiti’s greatest statement of success is the Pro’s unique software suite. With no reliance on third-party solutions, Zappiti’s software is designed and built exclusively for its hardware. As a bonus, the Pro includes software drivers to be easily integrated with home control systems from Control4, Crestron, and others. Plus, it has the worlds largest ID database to make categorizing and navigating stored movie libraries a breeze.

Multi-room Capabilities and More

The Zappiti Pro 4K HDR features Direct Output technology and a Type-R power supply capable of producing low noise and lower external magnetic field interference than standard power supplies. Featuring an ultra-rigid steel chassis, specialized feet to reduce vibrations and zero signal transport to cancel mass-loop effects, the Pro 4K HDR delivers superior sound and video. A dual rack enclosure can store up to 32 TB of video and audio content internally. As a bonus, content stored on the Pro 4K HDR can be shared with other units in the Zappiti ecosystem to provide a multi-room viewing experience on displays throughout a residence.

U.S. Dealer Support

Boosted by a higher volume of sales each year, Zappiti recently opened a branch in Florida to promote, distribute and support its entire range of products for North America. Its line of media servers, which differ in storage capacities, are distributed in 50 countries worldwide.
