PSB Previews PWM Series, A New Range Of Versatile Performance Wall Mount Speaker Solutions

First Model to Market will be PWM2, a Sleek On-Wall Speaker That Can Be Used Vertically or Horizontally as Left, Center, Right or Surround

PSB Speakers, long renowned for affordable excellence in loudspeaker design, previewed the first of a new range of high-performance wall mount speaker solutions called the PWM Series. The first model to launch from the new range will be the versatile PWM2, a sleek on-wall speaker that can be oriented either vertically or horizontally and be also used as a front left, right, center or surround channel speaker. The PWM2 will be available in January 2020, in choice of Satin White or Satin Black finish, with a MSRP of $1749 U.S. each.

Today’s home audio applications demand solutions that traditional designs are simply not able to fulfill. Regardless of the installation however, PSB believes performance should never be compromised. Carrying on its long tradition of high performance and innovative design, PSB offers the PWM Series, a fresh range of on-wall speaker solutions. The first model to be introduced in early 2020 will be the PWM2, which will combine flexibility of installation, simple elegant design and of course, PSB’s renowned natural sound.

Measuring 36” long, the PWM2 design can be oriented either vertically or horizontally and be used as a front left, right, center or surround channel speaker. Less than 4” deep, its slim profile allows the PWM2 to hug the wall and maintain a minimal visual presence. Its clean and simple lines complement virtually any design aesthetic. A wall mount bracket for vertical or horizontal mounting will be included. Because audio components should look as great as they sound, the PWM2 will come in choice of Satin White or Satin Black finish with a soft magnetic grille to complement any décor.

Beyond the visual appeal and ease of application is a sonic performance which lives up to the PSB heritage. A three-way design incorporating newly-designed drivers and cabinet design, the PWM2 utilizes a 1” Titanium dome tweeter, two 3” midrange and two 4” woofers, both with carbon fiber cones. The PWM2 was designed by the growing PSB design team mentored by PSB founder and speaker industry icon, Paul Barton with final voicing performed at Canada’s famed National Research Council. PSB’s research has discovered how listener preferences can be integrated into a wide range of speaker designs for many different applications, yet all featuring consistent sound quality that is natural and lifelike.

The upcoming PSB PWM2 will be on display at CEDIA Expo September 12-14, in the Lenbrook Booth 2520, Hall F at the Colorado Convention Center. Lenbrook’s other fine brands, NAD and Bluesound, along with DALI, will also be on display there with company personnel on hand to provide demonstrations and answer questions.
