DEG Top 20 Watched At Home

January 3, 2022

Color Christmas Week

Green, Red and Blue

Two colorful characters dominated the Christmas week Watched at Home Top 20, with three titles each for Spider-Man and the Grinch standing out on a chart shining with Christmas spirit.  Propelled by excitement for new chapter Spider-Man: No Way Home, which rang up more than $600 million in domestic theaters over the holidays, three Spidey stories charted: Spider-Man: Far From Home at No. 6, Spider-Man: Homecoming at No. 11 and The Amazing Spider-Man at No. 15. The 1966 TV version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! snuck onto the chart at No. 20, joining 2000 and 2018 versions of the Dr. Seuss holiday story, which stayed in the top five. Half of the titles on the chart were beloved holiday classics.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms).
