The Federal Communications Committee, recognizing that there are problems with digital TVís national rollout, is planning to create an ""industry coordinating committee"" to resolve technical problems that TV stations are encountering during their conversions to digital transmissions. The committee is to focus on issues such as antenna heights, transmitter sites, signal-strength changes and other factors that affect how and when the public receives DTV signals. The FCC is soliciting ideas on how a national committee could be established with supporting regional coordinating panels working in conjunction.
