Crestron introduces its new Isys i/Oô TPMC-CH line of touchpanels, featuring an embedded Windows XP Operating System providing onboard PC functionality including 802.11g wireless capabilities. TPMC-CH touchpanels are available with a 15"" screen or a 17"" widescreen display in a variety of styles including desktop tiltcase and wallmount designs. TPMC-CH touchpanels support HDTV sources, a bi-amplified speaker system, a built-in microphone, over standard CAT5 cables. The TPMC-CH Series of touchpanels operate on an embedded PC platform that allows the user to access the Web via Internet Explorer, view streaming media using WindowsMediaÆ Player 10, manage e-mail, and view popular file formats including MS Word, Excel, PowerPointÆ, and AdobeÆ AcrobatÆ securely in a locked down environment- all while providing easy control of AV distribution, lighting, climate control and security. No external computers are necessary. The TPMC-CH series accepts HDTV signals up to 720p and 1080i through two CAT5 input ports. Video signal enhancement features such as the built-in scalers with motion adaptive deinterlacing, gamma correction, time-base correction and 3:2/2:2 pulldown maintain the optimum, high-quality video image on the touchpanel display. Complementing the impressive video display is the high-powered, biamplified speaker system onboard the new TPMC-CH touchpanels. These latest Crestron panels pump out high-quality audio over a 10-watt 2-way speaker system. The built-in microphone provides intercom functionality. TPMC-CH touchpanels produce astonishing full-color graphics with lightning-fast performance and incredible versatility. TPMC-CH touchpanels feature 24-bit graphics, incredibly bright displays with impressive contrast at any viewing angle. Crestron's new TPMC-CH Series supports enhanced GUI capabilities such as high-resolution graphics and images, dynamic text, full-motion video, animation, multimode objects, translucency and transition effects.
