InterVideo and Ulead Showcase MediaOne BD Burning Technology and WinDVD HD DVD and BD Playback at CEATEC

InterVideoÆ, Inc. and Ulead Systems, Inc. announced that their next-generation HD DVD and Blu-ray (BD) technologies will be showcased at the booths of several leading manufacturers at the Ceatec Show in Japan this week. Demonstrations at the partner booths will show how WinDVD(R) HD and MediaOne(TM) can be combined with notebooks, barebone systems and TV tuners to deliver HD DVD/BD playback and easy-to-use BD authoring and burning. Ceatec, Asia's largest electronics and IT show, marks the first time that multiple global market companies will highlight products featuring the high-definition playback, authoring and recording technologies co-developed by InterVideo and Ulead. Organizations and companies that will be showcasing WinDVD HD and MediaOne at their Ceatec booths include: BD Promotion Group Pavilion -- Booth # 2A30 Hitachi(R) -- Booth # 3A55 NEC at the HD DVD Promotion Group Pavillion -- Booth # 2A12 Pioneer(R) -- Booth # 3A63 Sony(R) -- Booth # 4B12 ""We're proud that these leading manufacturers will be using WinDVD HD and MediaOne to demonstrate the quality of HD DVD and BDAV playback and how amazingly sharp BD recordings can be,"" said Steve Ro, CEO and president of InterVideo. Designed to maximize the high-definition experience, WinDVD HD can be used to navigate and play back content on HD DVD and BD discs, while MediaOne(TM) BD will enable users to record crystal-clear High Definition Video (HDV) content directly to a BD RE disc. Both products will be available in the near future.
