HD Expo, a content-driven and theme-based venue where both film and video industry professionals learn more about high definition related products, services, and issues has announced a seminar/discussion with the directors and producers of the HD feature Closing Escrow the movie to reveal the process behind making an HD feature. The seminar is set to take place at the upcoming HD Expo on November 3, 2005 from 3-4pm at the Peterson Automotive Museum.Randall P. Dark, President of HD Vision Studios and Executive Producer for Closing Escrow; Kristen Cox, President of 16x9 Productions, and Producer for Closing Escrow, collaborated with Armen Kaprelian, President of Awkward Silence Productions and Director / Executive Producer for Closing Escrow to produce the feature. The HD Expo seminar will also include Scott Billups, HD Guru and Cinematographer for Closing Escrow along with Kent Llewellyn, Story Editor and Co- Director for Closing Escrow. The discussion will focus specifically on how to raise funds, determine acquisition format, cost structure/budgets, post- production and distribution for an HD feature.Closing Escrow has just finished principle photography and is currently in post-production at the HD Vision Studios facility in Los Angeles. The feature was shot entirely in 24p using the Sony CineAlta Cameras and is using the Final Cut Pro for off line and a linear conform for the final editing. The complete HD independent feature is an improvisation comedy that follows the story of three quirky families through the process of finding a perfect home and the outlandish bidding war that ensues when they try to purchase the same property.
