Corning Incorporated has created a Web site to help inform consumers about the benefits of LCD TVs.  The site, www.corning.com/lcdtv, is intended to provide consumers with useful information about LCD flat panel TVs before they enter the show room. It focuses on key benefits such as picture quality, HD resolution, form factor and power consumption. It also provides useful information on topics such as cable connectors and mounting considerations. The latest issue features an article about creating a home theater with an LCD TV display and provides an interactive room planner to help consumers arrange furniture and find the optimal place for their flat panel LCD TV.  ìThe goal of our site,î said Division Communications Manager Jim Terry, is to provide consumers with accurate information so they can make informed decisions. We are excited about the advantages that LCD TV brings to people in the emerging digital home, and created a communications platform to reach them directly.î The Corning LCD TV website offers tutorials on LCD technology.
