Discovision Associates Enters Into Patent Licensing Agreement With KDG

Discovision Associates and KDG announced that they have entered into a patent license agreement for the manufacture and sale of optical discs. Discovision, a US company, owns a large worldwide patent portfolio pertaining to optical disc technology and licenses its patents to companies that make and sell optical-disc-related products. KDG is one of Europe's larger compact disc manufacturers with facilities in France, Austria and the Netherlands. About Discovision Discovision owns and manages a worldwide portfolio of approximately 1,300 patents that cover a large range of technologies relating to the methods and apparatus used to create, replicate and play back optical disc storage media, including compact discs, CD-ROMs and other optical disc formats. Discovision is a California partnership of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. and Pioneer Electronics Capital Inc., with its headquarters in Irvine, CA.
