Steely Dan's ""2 Against Nature"" album was released on February 29, 2000 and entered the Billboard Charts at #6. The band begins a worldwide concert tour in Japan on May 14, 2000. The US leg of the tour kicks off on June 13 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California, coinciding with the home video release. Steely Dan, comprised of Walter Becker (bass) and Donald Fagen (vocals and keyboards), has not released an album of new music since 1980's bestselling Gaucho. The DVD of the concert, filmed January 28-29, 2000 at Sony Studios in New York City, will feature DolbyÆ Digital and DTSÆ Digital Surroundô 5.1 audio tracks on the same disc. The tracks were recorded and mixed by Elliot Scheiner and Roger Nichols. The pair won GrammyÆ Awards for their work on the band's Gaucho and Aja.
