Trans*ana Compact Amplifier At NAB Convention

30-Mar-00

HaflerĘ, the leader in amplifiers for the broadcast, post production, studio and audiophile markets, is featuring the P1000 Trans*ana compact single rack height amplifier at the NAB Convention, held from April 10 to 13 at the Sands Expo Convention Center. The P1000 is designed for broadcast studio monitoring, recording or critical listening, headphone system amplification, surround sound applications, paging systems, balanced or unbalanced use, and 115V/230V requirements. The unique circuitry of the unit is based on TRANSconductance Active Nodal Amplifier topology, which operates the output stage with its full voltage gain, allowing the input stage to operate from a low voltage regulated supply. The signal is then shifted up in level to the high voltage section by the driver stage, which forms an active node at ultrasonic frequencies. This results in very stable, highly linear operation producing a natural and accurate soundstage with exceptional image focus.
