Image Entertainment Launches DVDplanet.com

(NASDAQ: DISK), a leading DVD licensee and distributor, announced the official launch of DVDPlanet, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce site, owned and operated by Image's wholly-owned subsidiary, DVDPlanet.com, Inc. (formerly ""Ken Cranes DVD and Laserdisc""). The new site will replace the existing KenCranes.com site. Visitors to DVDPlanet will find many Web-savvy features including streaming content, editorial features, product reviews, and one of the most comprehensive DVD databases on-line.
