Leviton Introduces DHC High-Wattage Dimmer With Advanced Intellisenseô Circuitry And Scene Lighting Control Features

The latest addition to The Decora Home Controls (DHC) line of powerline carrier home automation components, Levitonís DHC High-Wattage Dimmer Module (Cat. No. 6343), is designed to control high-wattage loads in DHC-equipped homes. The device offers local and remote dimming control for one or more lighting loads with a maximum capacity of 1000 watts. It features Levitonís new Intellisense advanced circuitry for optimum performance reliability even in situations where electrical ""noise"" exists on the power line. The DHC High-Wattage Dimmer Module also provides Scene Lighting Control features when used in conjunction with Levitonís new DHC Touch Screen Programmable Controller (Cat. No. 26311) or its new DHC Wall-Mounted Scene Controllers (Cat. Nos. 16400/16450S and 16400/16450-SD). With scene lighting control, up to four preset lighting scenes can be selected for a single room or group of rooms.Levitonís new DHC High-Wattage Dimming Module can be used with incandescent and magnetic low-voltage loads in both single-pole and three-way applications, allowing contractors to maintain less inventory when traveling to job sites. Ideal for residential areas with larger lighting loads, the dimming module is suitable for home theatres, dining rooms with chandeliers. Living rooms with high hats, entranceways, and a wide range of other mood-lighting applications. A handy preset feature will switch lights ON at the last selected brightness level. Its Soft ON/Fade OFF feature provides a smooth increase and lowering of brightness levels while extending bulb life. Its protected memory maintains light levels during minor power fluctuations.
