Leviton Manufacturing Co. has expanded its line of Decora designer-styled Electronic Timer Switches to include three new timers, each built with precision electronic circuitry. Designed to provide timed control for indoor and outdoor lighting, heat lamps, spas, hot tubs and attic and exhaust fans, the line of products provides significant energy savings by automatically switching controlled loads OFF when theyíre not needed. In addition, the products afford enhanced convenience, comfort and home security.Levitonís Variable Countdown Timer Switch offers programmable time-to-OFF intervals ranging from one minute to 18 hours for 600W incandescent lighting loads.The new Programmable Light Switch provides 14-hour program capability for turning up to 500W of incandescent lighting ON and OFF automatically. The program will repeat daily whether or not the home is occupied - an important home security feature.Levitonís 24 Hour LCD Programmable Timer executes up to 48 ON/OFF settings per day, making it an ideal, energy-efficient, whole-house device for controlling fans, pool filters and other large loads, while providing times security lighting features. This unit features a LCD display for all programming data, and is rated 1200W incandescent, 1200VA inductive and 1HP for motor loads.Levitonís line of electronic timers also includes popular Preset Timer Switches that are available with five different time options. Each unit provides four preset time buttons, in increments from 2 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the model. These devices automatically shut off controlled loads when the selected time button expires.
