QUALCOMM Promotes Kimberly Haile To President Of QUALCOMM Digital Media

QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, announced the promotion of Kimberly Haile to Senior Vice President of QUALCOMM and President of QUALCOMM Digital Media. Ms. Haile will expand the leadership role she previously held as Senior Vice President and General Manager of QUALCOMM Digital Media, a division of QUALCOMM, to focus on expanding existing businesses and identifying and opening new markets. Ms. Haile joined QUALCOMM in November 1989 as a member of the OmniTRACS contracts and legal department. Over the last 10 years, she has continued to take on increasing levels of responsibility and leadership that includes Director of Contracts and International Programs and Vice President of Business Development for OmniTRACS. Later as Vice President of Operations for CommSystems, she assisted in the management of Globalstar and other businesses until her assignment to Senior Vice President and General Manager of QUALCOMM Digital Media. Before joining QUALCOMM, Ms. Haile practiced business law with Gray, Cary, Ames and Frye. Ms. Haile holds a J.D. cum laude from the University of San Diego, where she was a member of the law review, and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Colorado.
