Pinnacle Previews Two New Authoring Solutions

Pinnacle Systems revealed two new professional level authoring solutions. In addition to the powerful capture and editing capability of these products, DC2000 provides interactive authoring of CDs and a single menu DVD while the DVD2000 provides the capability to author fully featured industry standard DVDs. These new products use Pinnacle Systems proprietary SmartGOP technology to edit IBP streams, the language of DVD, in real-time with single frame accuracy. By using direct IBP encoding these products eliminate the need for the time consuming recompression of video prior to authoring. This provides a complete, fast and seamless DVD editing and finishing environment. Pinnacle Systems professional editing and authoring solutions meet the exacting standards of DVD authoring.
