Russound Names Industry Veteran, Peter Hoagland, Director Of Marketing And Technology

Russound, a leading manufacturer of audio products for residential and commercial custom installation, has created a new position, Director of Marketing and Technology, and tapped industry veteran, Peter Hoagland, to fill it. Mr. Hoagland will manage all of the company's marketing activities, including licensing of recently acquired technologies, said Oscar Ciornei, Russound's Chief Operating Officer. Peter Hoagland's name is one familiar to the audio industry. With more than twenty years experience in the management and marketing of specialty audio products, he brings much to the table. Perhaps best known for his association with KEF America and Meridian America, where he ascended from National Sales Manager to President of both companies. Mr. Hoagland has also held positions with B&W Loudspeakers and Signet. In addition, Mr. Hoagland has been a consultant in the specialty audio and home theatre arenas. His clients have included Bogen Communications, NEAR, Sound Tube Entertainment, Canon, and Interactive Labs.
