MartinLogan Introduces THEATERô - Reference Electrostatic Center Channel Loudspeaker

The THEATERô is capable of reproducing all the detail and richness present in advanced THXÆ, DTSÆ Digital Surroundô and Dolby DigitalÆ sound tracks. It provides the power handling, expanded dynamics and center channel clarity essential to the high performance home theatre experience. The THEATER replaces MartinLogan's Logos speaker, the world's first electrostatic center channel, which quickly became the reference for center channels when introduced in 1993. The THEATER leverages MartinLogan's 20 years of audio leadership including the invention of their proprietary CLSô electrostatic panel with its ultra-thin transparent diaphragm. Driven by charged electrons and weighing less than the air it moves it is so responsive it reproduces sound at levels associated with only the finest audio electronics. Fusing this ultra high-performance CLS transducer with dual proprietary 6.5-inch dynamic bass drivers and innovative controlled dispersion array has resulted in a design break-through capable of fully resolving from the most subtle dialog to room-shaking effects. The THEATER's controlled dispersion array maintains precise frequency vs. dispersion characteristics on-the-fly, thus minimizing room interaction.
