All the loudspeakers feature a high sensitivity, 6 1/2-inch mid-bass driver with a pole mounted phase plug to insure a smooth response. In the DCM10 and DCM12 floor-standing models, the mid-bass driver augments the woofer output by using a proprietary, common cavity cabinet design that improves mid-range response. The DCM10 and DCM12 models also include high power handling, high sensitivity woofers that reproduce a smooth and accurate bass response. Adding to the new design of the DCM floor-standing models are exposed feet that isolate the cabinets from the floor, reducing sympathetic vibrations. To ensure the best possible sound, bass reflex ports located on the bottom of the cabinets reduce the possibility of variation in bass response caused by room placement. Nickel-plated, 5-way binding posts located on the bottom of the cabinets provide a cosmetically pleasing surface on all sides of the cabinet. This means that they look outstanding regardless of where you place them in the room.The DCM6C center channel speaker consists of a single 6 1/2-inch woofer, 6 1/2-inch passive radiator and tweeter combination configured to insure a maximum acoustic presentation.The DCM6 surround sound speaker is made up of a single 6 1/2-inch woofer and a single tweeter, making the movie theatre experience complete.Not only do the DCM home theatre loudspeakers sound amazing, but they also look great in any home.
