DTSÆ Becomes Associate Member Of DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) Standards Group

DTSÆ, a leader in digital audio for cinema, pro audio, consumer products and broadcasting, has become an associate member of DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting), a technical organization that creates standards for video and audio broadcasting. ""As we continue to expand applications of DTS digital multi-channel audio on a global scale, including broadcasting, it is important that we become involved with industry organizations that are setting the agenda for future technology applications,"" said Jon Kirchner, President and COO, DTS. ""As an associate member of DVB, we look forward to serving the broadcasting community."" DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) is a consortium of over 300 companies that have come together to establish common international standards for the move from analogue to digital broadcasting.
