With plans for additional models, JVC is first introducing a 27-inch version, the AV-27F802, delivering exceptional performance and value for its customers.The AV-27F802 is designed to meet the demands of both the growing number of home theatre enthusiasts and the vast array of entertainment sources available today. The AV-27F802 is equipped with two component video inputs, two S-Video inputs (one rear, one front), four A/V inputs (three rear, one front) and fixed or variable audio output. JVC's exclusive COMPU LINK EX makes experiencing fine home theatre as easy as the push of a button.In a sleek silver cabinet, JVC's high performance side mounted front-firing speakers, coupled with BBE technology, has created its finest sound quality to date. BBE technology provides more depth, detail and definition to improve sound clarity. The BBE sound system, with ""hyper-surround"" audio enhancements, will add a slight delay to the lower frequencies of the audio signal so the higher frequencies reach the viewer's ears first, resulting in a very crisp, clean sound emanating from side-mounted front speakers. Dynamic Focus With DQ (Double Quadrapole) lenses eliminate beam spot distortion and then improves precision focusing from corner-to-corner.The Digital 4 Mega 10-bit, 3D Y/C comb filter incorporates 4MB DRAM, which provides better sampling between frames to eliminate dot crawl and cross color interference, while 10-bit A/D and D/A converters enhance Y/C output separately, with 1024 smooth scaling.With 15 percent more pixels than the average PIP, JVC's PIP is crisp and clear. By pressing the PIP Channel -/+ buttons on the universal remote control, you can change the PIP screen's channel. To freeze a snapshot of what is on the big screen, just press the Freeze button. Press Swap, and the PIP and big screen switch places.
