DTSÆ Promotes Lise Hannibal To Marketing Director For Cinema Group

DTSÆ announced that Lise Hannibal has been promoted to Director of Marketing, Cinema. Previously, she served as Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing, advertising and public relations for the companyís cinema division. Since Ms. Hannibal joined DTS in 1998, she has greatly expanded awareness of the DTS brand within the film industry and among moviegoers, and continues to manage creative services and resources to enhance the companyís corporate image as the company moves into new markets. She enjoys outstanding relationships with exhibitors throughout North America, and will now become more involved in corporate and cinema marketing, particularly in the international arena,"" said Jon Kirchner, DTS President. Ms. Hannibal has introduced many innovations while at DTS, including the creation of ""Sound Waves,"" the companyís bi-annual news magazine, promotional tools and programs for exhibitors, including the DTS Online Tech Center, a trouble-shooting resource for theater techs, producing new and dynamic collateral materials including one-sheet posters and a new theatrical trailer, and the expansion of the Web site as a communication tool for customers and consumers worldwide. Prior to joining DTS, Hannibal was the national fundraising director for Variety Club, an industry-supported childrenís charity. Working extensively with entertainment companies, she developed and implemented the companyís successful Gold Heart campaign which raised over $2 million annually in North America. She started out in the Los Angeles, California office of Variety Club as their program director, where she produced fundraising events, outreach programs and promotional campaigns.
