Klipsch Audio Technologies is now shipping its Reference Custom Series, a completely new line of premium architectural products that offer residential contractors a broad range of choices for custom installations. In addition to the clever application of high-grade loudspeaker materials and technologies, the new Reference Custom in-ceiling models feature a 360-degree rotating TractrixÆ Horn and the in-walls feature a proprietary 5.25-inch square Tractrix horn that rotates +/- 10 degrees.Kerry Geist, Senior Product Manager for the Klipsch Systems Integration Division, said, ""Whether 'specing' in a system using Reference architectural products only, or designing a system with a combination of in-wall, in-ceiling, floorstanding, bookshelf, center and surrounds, whatever you choose will have the same powerful, detailed Klipsch performance because theyíre sonically matched.""Both Reference Custom Series in-ceiling products - RCR-3 6.5-inch two-way and RCR-5 8-inch two-way - feature a newly developed one-inch 360-degree rotating titanium dome Tractrix Horn tweeter and a -3dB tweeter attenuation switch that is accessible from the front baffle.Both Reference Custom Series in-wall products - RCW-3 6.5-inch two-way and RCW-5 8-inch two-way - incorporate the same materials and front baffle attenuation switch as the in-ceiling models, but also feature a mid-bass attenuation switch and a proprietary 5.25-inch square Tractrix horn that rotates +/- 10 degrees in the horizontal plane.
